A lot of people online are losing their minds over dropping 2 x USB-A ports, but my view is that 5 x USB-C/Thunderbolt ports, ethernet, and HDMI in an even more powerful and compact machine will make the M4 Pro Mac mini a little beast of a thing.

What is the circular port right of the ethernet port and left of the left USB-C port? 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 to your renderings! From what I am hearing, because of the method they are using to produce the m4s, they may be cheaper than the m3s and as a result, Ae will be able to increase base RAM to 16gb without adding
to the overall price. 👍🏻👍🏻 The only thing I have not heard yet… What will be the base storage - 256gb or 512gb?

I wish the thickness of the mac mini m4 stayed the same as the m1, as I have a vertical stand which I love and it has a card reader and built in ssd drive. How did you like the Spaten Oktoberfestbier? I´m German and I haven´t sampled it yet as I live in the region with the highest brewery to population ratio (small breweries often have the better Bier) ;)

I just switched from 43 years of PC to Mac. I have an M2mini. I was pressured by wife, her crazy Tech stepson's to "grow up." I admit there was a learning curve (I still don't have it all after 4 months). It was worth it. I can't go back. Yes, I have an ASUS 17 inch laptop as bak up and a 17 inc ASUS Chromebook (refurbished) for backup of backup...I can always get Email and read the NYT)

12:25 If I forget my charger at the office, I keep things simple. I leave a Ugreen 300W adapter with multiple USB-C ports in office locker, so I can charge my MacBook, iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch all at once. For when I'm on the go, I have a 100W Ugreen charger in my backpack. And at home, I rely on my Caldigit TS4 to handle all my charging needs. Easy and convenient!

USB C is now and the future. Forget the A and use a dongle if necessary.

8K is definitely a big no on iPhones. iPhone 15 Pro Max runs really hot recording non-ProRes 4K60 footage, 8K would make the matter way worse.

I like it but without enough ports then the hub I will need it to sit on for increased ports will make everything bigger than the original
design was / is, so defeats the objective of making it smaller for my use at least.
