You forget how even Dumbledore amends his own statement.

“Help will always be given at Hogwarts to those who DESERVE it.”

I saw an interview of a serviceman who knew Harry while at the military base and he said that whenever Harry went out, there were always at least 2 special units that would go out in front and behind him or often fly above him so he was well protected. I'm not taking anything away from him, it's a fact that he was a high prize target so extra effort would have been made to capture him. This also means that there were many brave men and possibly women that put their lives in danger to allow Harry the opportunity to serve.

I'm from Germany and I grew up knowing about the royal family, Harry and William were always in the papers and magazines, it's ridiculous that Meghan claims that because she's American she didn't know much about the royal family. Nevermind the fact that she lived in Canada for quite some time, too.

What irritates me about MM is that despite her self-proclaimed 'whip smart' intellect, she perpetually claims ignorance of every aspect of H's life, country, culture, etc. She then proceeds to blame said ignorance on being American. That's not an excuse! I don't actually believe she really was ignorant of those things, she simply did not want to comply with expectations and now needs an excuse to explain her failure to adapt. But, if she truly was so incredibly ignorant about Harry, his family and country, she shouldn't have married him until she did learn about those things, especially given his family's prominence.

I heard an officer that served at the same time as Harry saying they used to have to go out ahead of Prince Harry to make sure it was safe for him. Also, he was never drug tested and got out of it by saying he had to go home for business, after, he had just come back from a leave. So yes, he had advantages that others did not while serving.

Harry was very well protected while in Afghanistan...he even had his own contingent of 7 gurkhas to protect him. They didn't want a repeat of what happened with Andrew, who wasn't given special protection during the Falklands war and the palace found out after the fact.

William was prevented from being deployed for the same reason and was pushed to do more safe work, which is why he did 2 years as a search and rescue pilot. Prince Philip was a decorated war hero in the navy, and Queen Elizabeth was an ambulance driver during the Blitz in London because she was too young to enlist.

Harry always overstates his military experience but it's actually laughable that he would say he is the only one in the family that has military experience.

He didn’t say it in the Netflix show but he does in the book: his father made appts and told him he would talk to a Rabbi and holocaust survivor - he didn’t just seek them out himself . He was told basically “you did a dumb thing in a youth-driven moment and now you’re going to go learn why it was bad.”

I find it super frustrating how much he tries to make it seem like he reached out on his own and then goes on to shift the bigot blame on family.

I almost teared up when you mentioned the 'hatered towards the father' component in OC. No one talks about it, but it explains a lot of Harry's conflicts with the father.

On The Behavior Panel, Chase who served 20 years had stated during their examination of the same Harry video that he personally knew soldiers who’d served deployments with Harry and that he was heavily protected and had a vastly different military experience, especially overseas, given that someone of status like Harry would’ve made him a prize & propaganda win for enemy forces. My husband is Active Duty in a combat MOS and has stated that anyone of diplomatic importance or high status during their deployments has been very comfortably taken care of as the consequences would be too severe if not.

Great Job!!! The only place M bugged me is when she talked about the drive to the castle for her wedding. I think she was lying when she acted so surprised that her and her mom saw SOOOO many people along the drive. She had to know that happened with other weddings and even funerals. I think it was said in a bragging way.

Your analysis is by far my favorite because 1. You focus strictly on the body language and don’t get distracted by trying to guess the intentions. 2. You provide an impartial analysis without giving preference to those for or against Harry & Meghan.

I’m looking forward to the next video :)

Hell no he didnt have any type of "lived experience" but prince William piloted an Air Ambulance, now THAT is a lived experience....

An outspoken and very highly decorated (the Military Cross was presented by the Queen!) British soldier, Trevor Coult, says that he was part of a detail assigned to protect Harry throughout his military service. By his account, Harry’s experience was absolutely not typical.
That said, it was probably the most “normal” period of his life 🤷‍♀️💐

I’m from the uk. When she got married the media was saying wonderful things about her. We loved her and thought she was beautiful. It was her bending the rules, not wearing appropriate clothing or doing things royals didn’t usually do that the media picked up on etc. Her personality didn’t help her at all because personality I feel like Americans are a lot more easier to read when they’re being fake. Brits tend to be more subtle with their actions or facial expressions. (Not saying Americans are fake it’s just easier to see it for us) The reason the media got so out of hand is because the articles were getting tones of views and magazines were getting a load of sales with the hate towards her so the more attention they got the more they were produced. The majority of us think she’s disrespectful towards our culture and don’t like her at all. (If we liked her the media articles wouldn’t have got clicks and the magazines wouldn’t have sold so they would have moved on. That’s how it works) They can blame the media all they like but she refuses to look at herself and ask herself the real questions as to why they really picked on her. She thought it was because she is of colour but not once did they mention her skin colour from the things I saw. It was all to do with her manners, or what she was wearing. Of course she goes back to Oprah to complain because let’s face it in America she’s going to find a lot more people who side with her as they don’t understand the English culture, she clearly doesn’t either and even after being taught still doesn’t which is why I feel like we see some contempt from Harry. He must have tried hard to help her fit in but he just couldn’t in the end. He doesn’t look happy at all through this and even when he was doing military work when he was younger he seemed to be bursting with life. Her obsession with being in the spotlight needs to stop because she’s dragging him down with it and it’s very sad to see.

He was not the only member of his family to serve in the military and see service during a war. Prince Andrew served in the Falklands war, Prince Phillip was in the navy for a number of years and saw service during WW2. Queen Elizabeth served in the army and lived through the blitz.

Thank you for contending with the 'avert eye-contact = liar' myth. Your avoidance of the tempting and easy 'this means that' is one of the reasons you are the only behaviour analyst I find credible. Thank you for the nuance and the intelligent, humane approach you always bring to your videos.

I agree, my biggest take-away is that she’s very inconsistent with what she claims to be and how she actually behaves. The one that bothered me the most is she apparently took some jabs at Princess Kate for having “pregnancy brain” and imbalanced hormones which feels extremely insulting and disingenuous from someone who purports to champion and empower women.

As an actress, Megan should be familiar with researching for different characters and roles she played. There is no excuse for not knowing what was expected of her. I think she just felt very inadequate and tried to hide it by not accepting any advise and help. That is consistent with her talking constantly about strong, ambitious, smart women. For her to ask and accept help would be admitting that other people know more than her and she would percieve that as weakness.

Imagine carrying all the anger Harry feels for what happened to his mom, and then marrying someone who relentlessly attempts to convince you that everything you are and everyone you ever loved is, by nature, evil. When he said, "I hated myself..." it took me aback for a second - the contempt on his face looks, to me, like self-loathing... in the present ☹️

Re. married in Castles - in the UK there are lots of Castles and many people marry in Castles. Think it may seem more 'wow!' if one is not used to them.
