Nice video. but i have one doubt that here you have not used mcp2551 transceiver. you have directly connected mcp2515 to the can bus. Is it not necessary to use mcp2551? if not then what is the use of mcp2551?

im trying to send and/or receive can bus data on a Speedometer Cluster but i think im doing something wrong.
is the "Send" sketch more appropriate? ive tried it but doesnt do anything (new arduino user)

As by data base is online and want to look some values on behalf of RFID tag .now please note in database in table I already stored RFID details now I want to search that tag through Arduino code that get the flag yes or no which is there on behalf of each RFID which stored in the mysql table .

Does this work bidirectional? Basically if I am using 2 Arduinos and 2 MVP boards, I can send and also receive messages on each of the MCP boards. Is that possible?

And I have one more doubt like first i have finished my communication between two can protocols
So can i remove one and can i keep a car on the other half for transmitting can messages to my can module??

(or) can i connect the same circuit to a car???

I have a joystick that outputs in CANbus. Can I use your posted method to connect the CAN output from the joystick and read exactly what the output is?
I want to do this because afterwards, I want to use a joystick that outputs 0-5v analog, and I want to take that as input into the Arduino, and use the CANboard to output the same CAN signal that the first joystick did. In other words, I want to create an analog to CAN converter using an arduino and the chip you mentioned. Can this be done using the MCP2125 chip and can you recommend how I go about it?
