It wasn't 40 days. It was 40 years. "I appoint thee Each day for a year" Easter is Paganism as well as all other man made holidays. The only Holy Days we are allowed to honor are in the Bible. None of the others are in the Bible and therefore man made and the Bible says we are not to honor man made traditions.
