Only reason the Lightning were even in this game going into the 3rd was because of Vasilevskiy without him this could've easily been a 7-1 game Rangers were the better team 100%.

As much as I love Lundqvist, they should try moving him now. Get as much as you can, whether it’s draft picks and/or a player, while getting rid of all that cap space. His numbers aren’t that great, the team doesn’t play hard in front of him anymore, and we have Georgiev and Shestyorkin as the back up. Letting his contact expire isn’t going to get anything except $8.5 million in cap space taken up and delaying Shestyorkins development. Then whoever is better between Georgiev and Shestyorkin stays as the main guy, and the other gets traded for more capital, and a backup can be signed. There’s so much more to gain by moving him than just letting him play out the last two years.

What a play by Point on that poorly timed line change by the rangers. Saying that, pleased to see the rangers get the win, and particularly a win produced off of the efforts of the younger guys on the team.
