"There aren't a lot of great areas to buff." Well... I smell a Yuumi gameplay rework in season 13. - She can be best buddies with Ryze, then maybe Book can go out on a date with Scroll.

Edit* For real, though. You can't make her a Q turret because then she's too safe. You can't make her E strong because then she's an ardent censer that makes a champion immortal. You can't make her ult strong because it's a massive AOE root that you can't interrupt without having to first kill whatever champion she's attached to. And you can't revert to her original W because then she can skirt from champ to champ and off and on and would be too slippery, and good luck killing her without having to kill every other champ present first.

The change I would personally make is have her only be able to temporarily attach to a champion, and then have a cooldown that needs to pass before she can attach again. - Then you can make her Q strong because she can only use it as a homing missile once per fight, not as free poke, you can make her E impactful because it'll be more about a stat steroid and emergency heal rather than non-stop sustain, and you allow counter-play by allowing the enemy team to actually attack Yuumi and her ADC while they're "on cooldown", and try to snipe the Yuumi whenever she can attach.

And then Yuumi can play like a normal support, only wanting to attach to her carry when they're about to engage into a fight. And it would make her ideal for ADCs that can engage by themselves, such as Samira or Nilah, and less useful with a less mobile marksman who'd have trouble engaging or who'd prefer a poke lane. - It would also encourage her to stick around groups, maybe to rotate on the map, like maybe to run over to mid and attach to the mid laner while her W is on cooldown with the ADC.

And most importantly, she wouldn't be an S+ broken tier champ again the next time One For All is playable as an event game mode... >_>'

Yuumi, the magical cat

P: Periodically, when Yuumi attacks a champion, she restores mana and gains a shield, protecting her and the ally she heals with E.
Q: Yuumi fires a magic missile, dealing damage and slowing in an AoE.
W: Passive - Yuumi gives adaptative force or attack speed for all her nearby allies depending of the active instance.
Active - Yuumi switches her instance.
E: Yuumi heals an ally, she gains a percentage of the heal for herself.
R: Yuumi channels seven waves of damage, rooting anyone hit by three or more. Yuumi can move while channeling.

Thank god, as a Yuumi main i was actually scared she'll fall out of the game as in "ohh don't pick Yuumi we're gonna lose" fucking hell.

Make her take a portion of the pre-mitigated damage the champion she's attached to is receiving without reducing the host's damage like Knight's Vow and then add a health regen buff that only Yuumi receives when she uses her passive.

I think a fun and interesting change i would do is make her Targetable when on a champion too long. However Passive has to be up and the shield part has to be broken. Once broken and the passive comes up give her 3 Seconds (more or less) time before she can be targeted. By Targeted i mean by only spells. idk just my 2 cents.

The way to balance Yuumi - make her take % of the DMG the champion she's sitting on takes, there, her heal now doesn't need to be gutted to the ground because she now must use it on herself too, her Q was fine as it was

I feel like they could lock more of her power behind her passive to make yuumi detach for the most efficiency, like nerf her e by 30% and make her passive proc give her that 30% back as increased heal power or ap.

If they had just spent some time thinking about how enchanters and sustain is ruining the game they would have realized focusing the movespeed instead of the heal on her E and making her more of a skillshot based champion. I would make her W her passive (getting passive targets to click on allies) focus on making her Q and W into two skillshot launches to provide a more offensive and defensive spell for their carry with the E being more of a _zoomies_ than a massive sustain tool.

The mana-back passive is not really intuitive for her to use, she should be like a half champion buff to anybody she's attached to with some extra teeth to make them easily able to 1v2, not a heal slut that can't be killed.

I wanna just cripple it at this point. Put a time limit on how long she can be attached to a champion. If she goes to a different champion then it resets but if the times runs at, she isn't attached. There we go.

i think a W buff would work well if the adaptive stats were temporary, and more power in her kit was diverted to the temporary boost from hopping between allies.

(like an E heal nerf but gains shield/heal power for a few seconds when switching allies, Q nerf but much higher AP gained from W for a few seconds)

weaving between allies to cast her abilities was her original design idea, not sitting on the most fed person on your team 24/7 and spamming E and Q.

I keep saying it; maybe RIOT will hear - what's "broken" on Yuumi is the free stats she gives her anchor.

The way to pretty much instantly "fix" Yuumi:
- Remove the bonus stats given by W; neither Yuumi nor her anchor should get them.
- Give W a 4/3/2/1/0s cooldown, based on how many ability ranks it has.
- Nerf Moonstone Renewer - make it proc only from auto-attacks, not abilities.
- Buffs to Yuumi should give her things that only work unattached. This can be some AS scaling (she has almost none), AP scaling on Q that she only gets when detached, etc etc. Buffing Yuumi's attached state is not ever going make her more fun to play as/with/against. RIOT almost hit the mark here. A huge buff to Yuumi's Q unattached damage, but no buff to her attached Q damage, would have been an excellent direction in which to to buff Yuumi.

Yuumi's healing has been nerfed into the ground. It went from 210 to 190 then again to 150. It went from an 8s cooldown to a 10s cooldown. Her passive shielding has gotten only a tiny tiny buff to "balance things out but make Yuumi need to detach more"... but not even a third of the power it would need to do so, so Yuumi lost healing power with almost no reason still to detach (other than mana; but Moonstone Yuumi uses Q not E to heal her anchor).

Basically the real issue with Yuumi is that RIOT doesn't want to balance their champion pool. So the free stats Yuumi can give, those stats go haywire in mid/late game on any teammate that gets fed. It's easy to get fed on an unbalanced champion, and then Yuumi compounds the issue with her W bonus stats. Get rid of the stats... get rid of the problem.

If they really wanted to fix yuumi, they nerf damage and healing, but buff her passive, high risk high reward as getting off would kill her. there riot hire me.
