Lacking in so many ways, compared to the original release. Still mostly enjoyable, because it's such a stellar masterpiece work, overall. They absolutely removed Gilmour's acoustic solo from the title track, removed Water's vocal sound effects from the very end of Welcome to the Machine (the mouth pops and low key chuckle), minimized some of Gilmour's guitar rhythm work from the last half of Shine On, and added unnecessary keyboard effects to almost all songs. No offense to Rick fans, because I love and respect him, and he did some absolutely genius work on this album. But this "remaster" is a fail in my honest opinion. Give me the original cut any day, all day!
