Allan's Stroke Journey

Показать описание
Allan Morrison is a life-long volunteer. When he had his stroke in 2016, he was worried he’d not be able to give back ever again. Lucky for all of us, he was wrong.
Allan is a valuable member of the Prince Edward Island Provincial Stroke Steering Committee, the Health PEI Patient and Family Advisory Council, as well as the Stroke Patient and Family Advisory Committee.
He’s a community advisor for a research project from UPEI and McMaster University. He’s also a member of a discussion group for Heart and Stroke Canada for best-practice guidelines, secondary stroke prevention, and acute stroke management. He’s a peer-to-peer volunteer for the March of Dimes, and as he says “I’m sure there will be more to come!”
