if u make a melody that is in a very unusual scale like in this video, then would an artist find the key of the beat and use the autotune in that key? i might jus be dumb and im missing something here

How do you just pick a random scale and know what you’re playing is in key? Is there a trick in fl to only play in key or do you just have enough experience messing around to know
