If you’re a bit of a 'cant sit still' type of traveller like we are and want to have the best time in North Wales then these are our top 5 recommendations (so far).

1. Dinorwic Quarry - An awesome disused slate mine that has all the old equipment lying around, loads of ladders and chains for climbing (be safe) and its free! Best day trip ever!

2. Bounce below is a massive trampoline set up in a giant underground cave based at zip world in LLechwedd. This is so much fun even for two adults and not very expensive.

3. Climb a damn mountain! There are so many to pick from in the Snowdonia national park so pick one that fits your skill level/needs and go for a hike. They all boast beautiful views at the top and there is no better way to get out be active and chat to friends.

4. Cliff Jumping. When i say this people cringe but it doesnt have to be massive 50ft jumps into dangerous water! Simply chuck a wetsuit on and head to somewhere like myself and Jazz found in Holyhead. Perfectly safe, just a bit of fun and a great way to spice up a coastal walk.

5. There are so many awesome wild swimming spots in North Wales, but a nice easy one that promises beautiful blue water and great safe jumping spots is on Watkins Path en route to Snowdon.
