SpaceX mission arrives at ISS with the first Black woman to join space station crew.

A SpaceX capsule carrying four astronauts, including the first Black woman Jessica Watkins successfully docked with ISS on April 27th evening for a five-month mission of scientific research, station maintenance, training, and other duties.
According to NASA, Watkins will serve as a mission specialist on the fourth crew rotation flight of the Crew Dragon spacecraft to the ISS. Along with Watkins, NASA astronauts Kjell Lindgren, Robert Hines, and European Space Agency astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti are on the mission.
The astronauts had been in orbit for 16 hours aboard their SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft. The fully autonomous capsule circled the Earth more than ten times before approaching the ISS and making gentle, precise contact with one of the space station's docking ports.
Out of 248 astronauts, only seven black visited the space station, and none were included in multi-month missions.

Tfw someone tells you that it's wrong to be racist, but then celebrates someone for being the first person of their race to do it.
