The final scene of a younger Gwan-sik and Ae-sun on the canola field is so bittersweet. In the scene, they talked about their future plans, which never happened. But despite that, they lived a very happy life, and raised their children and grandchildren very well. They also treated their in-laws (Chung-seob and Hyeon-suk) as family.
Even though they had so much hardships in their lives, even though their children sometimes berate them, they didn't give up because their love for each other and resilience is very strong.

Gosh, I love this K-drama so much. I hope they'll win many awards in the Baeksang!

Day by day, even till the last episode, I love the details while watching those great couple .. & the whole drama, they are so real, the cloths, hairstyle makeup ... every single detail for all of the cast is amazing 👌, great work with a very selective touching story❤❤❤
