What you just saw was a unicorn. The song does not exist as a solo (acoustic) performance. Having seen Queen on the Day at the Races tour Freddie would come out and sing, then the band would join and everyone would leave the stage for the operatic section. The song was recorded in pieces. This is an stunning performance and accomplished in one take. Any musician will tell you that playing an instrument and singing along is difficult, this performance is mind boggling. This is a gifted musician (with one of the greatest voices out there today) and what he is doing is keeping the music of Queen alive. PLEASE watch more Jamel....its worth your time, I promise.

People don’t understand how hard this song is to sing especially for a baritone. Yeah, he sounds like Freddie, but he is a tremendous singer in his own right to be able to sing this song as well as he does and all while playing some fantastic piano. Really really impressive. I can sing this song, but Marc is doing something with queen songs that no one since Freddie himself has done. Every song is a hard song vocally. He is amazing in my opinion.

Wow! I was amazed by his ability to hit those higher notes that other band members besides Freddie sang, and how he was able to make the piano sufficient all on its own without any other instrument to carry the song like that. Incredible!

I saw him years ago on Youtube singing Somebody To Love for a competition and did an amazing performance. I hadn't heard his version of this song, but I KNEW that I would be in for something great before I even clicked on this video.

He was the singer for Queen Extravaganza ! This band was a tribute to Queen approved and produced by the drummer of Queen Roger Taylor and the guitarist Brian May. The band made appearances on TV on shows, including American Idol where their performance was seen by over 20 million people. I saw them twice.
