Understanding Schemes 2 - The road to Spec (Coordinate Rings & Morphisms)

In this video we extend the correspondence between points and maximal ideals to general algebraic sets. For this, we define the Coordinate Ring of an algebraic set, and we try figuring out what the 'correct' notion of a map between varieties (And later MaxSpec) should be.
