But the special Tommykaira R that we bought from our customer was used as a daily car without any pretentiousness!!

Yes, owning the JDM initial D featured cars gets attention in Australia. I own an imported original condition RX7 Bathurst R ( 500 made ). I get a lot of attention, even more than new cars. Scared to park it in public places even now, it rarely comes out of the garage.

Tommykaira R is legendary, I have replica scale model of it!!!🤩 So cool!
Pre-owner has my respect for using HIS car how HE saw fit🙇‍♂.
One way of owning is to only drive on sunny days & short trips. Another is to use to the fullest & enjoy each & every km as the odometer ticks over, & over, & over. (neither is right nor wrong, I believe)

I usually keep my ownership & contents of garage a secret (a very secure & alarmed secret). My favourite answer to "what type of car do you own?" is "ummm, just an old blue Nissan"😅

Lets all cherish our cars, & car thieves of the world should ALL be shown no mercy, never!🪓🗡🔪🏹🪃💣
