I loved the first one but i was sad about the lvl cap wish that was higher

So I really enjoyed the first game, but then I totally forgot that it existed until news of the 2nd. Honestly, I would’ve preferred a fallout new Vegas 2 😂 but I’m a fan boy. Appreciate the video!

Since obsidian fired all the writers of their golden age, i just dont see obsidian ever getting from the shadow of what they used to be, so while they can sell their games on premice that ”they” made new vegas, kotor 2 and nwn2mob, in decade ”were makers of outer worlds and awoved” aint gonna sell a thing, if neither has same deep writing ”their” previous works had to or innovative gameplay, but whit writers they currently have first is absolute impossibility and later while possible is doubtful.

I mean kotor 2 asked player to consider star wars universe, as its depicted: a galaxy where eavry conflict is affected by two religions of superpowered isolationist and moralist monks, or in case of sith domineering and self preservation extremist cult. Not to mention bipolar god supporting both religions. Where as mask of betreayal asked player to consider limits of mortal self determination in universe of dnd, where theres multiple pantheons of Real gods affecting mortal affers to their own ends on daily bases. As for new vegas, it depicted diverse forms of governence from history and asked player which would best suit post post apocalyptic rebuilding effort. Each games themes were handeled whit intellectual honesty and not shying awey from uncomftroble truths, while outer worlds handeled its corportism, by reducing corporations being depicted as intellectually incabable of survivng, i mean first area you visit has it story entierly based on people having forgotten human need for balanced diet and eating only tuna, dying of whats to them a mysterious plague and they are supposed to be frontier colonists, just lacking basic knowlege of nutritions! So no theres no way making outer worlds will ever be a selling point in same way obsidian used new vegas to sell it, itd have to say something meaningful on subject and frankly Cyberpunk did it whitout watering the point down to nothing.


Plus obsidian havent taken action against their lead dev who openly advicated for removal of white people from industry, so id guess they already commited cardinal sin of current day politics, by supporting that idelogical standpoint. Like kreia said ”its such a Quiet thing to fall, but far more terrifying to accept it” and in obsidians case its just matter of addmitence.
