This video shows an Extinction Rebellion protest against unnecessary CO2 emissions from wasteful consumerism.

The amount of clothing made and sold in the west has greatly increased over the last 20 years and the resulting CO2 emissions are now about the same as that from air travel.

Consumers and the fashion industry are starting to realise a lot of clothing is hardly ever worn and something needs to change.

I'm a political and social conservative but I am concerned about global warming (yes I know it's in vogue to say climate change now but I'm definitely not politically correct). I don't believe it's a million people over consuming; it's 7 plus billion people over consuming that is the problem. Overpopulation is the real problem. By the way, what do you do for a day job? Love you Camino videos. I'm going in May.

I understand the need to protest on this issue. But is blocking traffic a good idea? Surely it turns people against your group?
