Thanks! This solved my problem. I had to repeat the procedure few times before i could get it to work, but it did work!
When this problem occured i thought my key got damaged when i dropped it on the floor from a height of about 2m. Thanks again!

Does this reset keyless entry? I have my sensors all changed it was working for once and it stopped working again. Wondering if this can solve it?

What about for a keyless fob? How would someone do that. I have an a6 which has lost is programming since battery died inside the key fob. Won’t unlock/lock door etc

My key works as before when I change the battery in it . Not sure why a key already synchronized with the car would need this procedure.

It flashes once like it normally would when pushing a button but then i keeps flashing for 3-4 seconds continously and goes of. It does this on all three buttons. Anyone?

I have a 2012 and the key doesn't stick out that that. You have to disassemble it to get the key out
