I watch an s-ton of tech reviews and I think this was a fantastic run-down of Samsung's new smart watches. Why on earth all the thumbs down? I'm guessing it's because some don't like things like the death of the rotating bezel, but that's not this person or CNET's fault, damn.

Its a rugged sports, hiking, swimming watch. Why do people want a rotating bezel with springs and balls? Its meant to be rugged. The less moving parts the better.

The lack of rotating bezel is a huge miss; it's kind of their whole thing and really the only thing that would make it stand out against competition (e.g., Apple). Looks like I'll be skipping this gen as well (sigh)

I have the five pro and two of the classic 6.... Never experienced lag that everybody keeps talking about. 🤷🏾‍♂️ I'll wait for the 8 series next year.

I actually like the Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra than the apple Watch Ultra! I owned the Watch 3 45mm and Watch 6 classic 47mm! The Ultra is going to be a nice addition to my collection!😊

Man, I was really looking forward to the Ultra as a potential replacement for my Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. It finally has dual-band GPS, which is the main thing that I'm missing on my 5 pro (which has awful gps accuracy), but I'm not a big fan of the design. It looks so bulky even compared to my 5 Pro, which is already a big watch. Hopefully it looks better in person.

As we go forward, the functions of the digital watch are more and more like the phone. With round watch we end up scrolling more for info. Ist time for Samsung to go back to it's initial designs of square/rectangular watch? I was hoping this new watch would be the one but only to find out users we will be stuck with square watch with round display 😢 There is a good reason why our phones do not have circular display and going back also our books were never round paged.

I'm passing on the Ultra, but I will try the Watch 7. I also have a Watch 6 Classic and won't trade it in. Maybe the rotating bezel will be an every-other-year thing.

I love the "sqircle" shape. The square "frame" around the white watch face will definitely fix my desire to brighten the Galaxy bezels with snap on bling.
