One Punch Man was one of my first anime and i really enjoyed it but the fandom just makes me want to hate it. I am gonna be very unbiased and tell my opinion.
1) the gamma ray burst was way to underwhelming to be one. The collateral damage is shouldve been way more.
2) going by the logic of garou's infinite potential, you mean that he can just copy god and destroy his verse?
3) breaking of the limiter doesnt mean that there are no limits, there is a new one, a one that is higher. Garou copying goku's UI is pretty much gonna break him. Goku can do a trillion situps like it was nothing. I dont think garou's body is trained enough for the situation.
4) Going again by the logic that garou literally copies everything, saitama cant beat him unless of course he pushes himself too hard. If saitama can do it, why cant goku do it? Goku's training is way more exherting than saitama's.
ive seen people respect those who say that garou wins but laugh at those who think goku wins. The fandom has grown so toxic. It has to be the worst fandom rn.
+ im not a goku fan + i know goku doesnt solo fiction + i know half the people would just use "toxic goku kid" as an excuse for this + ive read opm manga.

Listen, I've been a big fan of garou ever since he was introduced, but we all know this cap.

The only reason Garou lose to Saitama is because Saitama's speed of growing strength is too fast that garou copy Saitama for every punch, but the next punch from Saitama hits even Much harder which means Saitama continue to grow for like every F'ing Nano Sec when the opponent is strong as him, which lead to the also answer the Question of how they both Serious Punch but it does not affect garou at all because at that moment Saitama and his strength where Slightly close, but after that Serious punch, Garou is the only one who take damage because Saitama out grew him.
But in case of Goku. here we got is, Goku can become very strong when he transform, he does not continue to grow like Saitama so he Can be Copied easily and can be overpowered easily.

Garou is just like Moro in the case that he has the ability to copy any technique which means I think if Garou copied Goku's MUI it would lead to him exploding. If you're unaware when Moro copied Goku's MUI he was used in for a short while without any hindrances but in few minutes after he copied MUI his body started deforming and he was gonna explode in an explosion that was going to vaporize the entire galaxy, due to the fact that his body was unable to withstand the angel power. The only reason Goku was able to withstand was that he specifically trained with Meerus to do so.
Now by using basic logic one can come to the conclusion that Garou wouldn't be able to withstand the angel powers and he'd just explode as he hasn't specifically trained his body to withstand it. Also, I have a surface-level understanding of OPM but can't Garou only copy techniques and not stats. If not then he'd gain nothing from copying MUI except the ability to dodge well, but if a person is fast enough they can still be hit so basically useless as Goku is far faster than Garou. Also in the new chapter, Garou copied Saitama's serious punch and was able to wipe out millions of stars. Taking in that the serious punch is a technique, Goku in the battle of gods was capable of destroying the universe by just clashing fists with Beerus meaning that he had the strength to at least destroy half the universe as Beerus' and Goku's punches were equal. Now, this was just a punch, not a technique meaning that Garou wouldn't be able to copy that. So one punch and he is outa here. Also, this is the beginning of Dbs, Goku was already shown to be able to destroy half the universe now take in the fact that he gets millions of times stronger if not tens of millions of times stronger throughout the series. A good consensus in the Dbs scaling scene is that Gokus is low Multiversal, which towers over the OPM universe that has multi-star system-level feats at best. Yes indeed, I do own the 🤓 emoji. Debate if you want but you gotta have proof to back it up none of that "but.. but Garoud is omniversal cuz of this statement made by me" give solid proof brah!
