If Moana's Grandmother's Spirit Animal is a ray, then what is Moana's? Ben has an idea!

Turtles aren't drawn to the water. They're drawn to the moon and its reflection off the water- this is why turtle hatcheries near human lights so often have issues with turtles going the wrong way, thinking the lights are the moon/waves. Similarly on cloudy nights, turtle hatchlings have difficulty navigating to the water at all and are scooped up by predators at higher rates. But yeah that's semantics, def agree with the theory :P

I have a theory that the wolves in the live action beauty and the beast are the girls in the white dresses that danced with the prince prior to the enchantment . They managed to leave the castle before turning into living objects but maybe the enchantress turned them into wolves to help prod on the end of the curse. The wolves are there to lead Maurice to the castle and ultimately have belle arrive there. When belle comes they don't chase her to the castle because there is no need to. She's already going to the castle. Maurice doesn't have a problem with the wolves in getting back to the village. When he brings gaston and lefou the wolves can be heard but don't come. Their howls are to keep gaston away until the time is right. When belle runs away, she is attacked by wolves because she can't leave before at least one has feelings for the other. When the beast releases her she doesn't encounter any wolves on her return because she will return. When the villagers come to storm the castle they don't encounter any beasts either because it all will lead to the curse being broken.

Also when the wolves attacked the beast, it was to push them together. As well as that, I would say that when the wolves attacked the beast it was more than pushing them together. Their attack on the beast was distinctly more aggressive than their "attack" on Belle. My theory would be that the girls were mad at the beast for their predicament; his selfishness and vanity turned them into wolves. So when he joined the fight, they unleashed their anger on him. However they were getting too aggressive. If you recall, one wolf jumps him from behind and the beast throws it off onto the ice. The wolf is very quick to get back on its feet, snarling. Then the beast roars at it and it gets an odd expression on its face, whimpers and runs off. The wolves were overdoing the fighting and when the beast roared it reminded the wolves that it was just to bring belle and the beast together to break the curse, not to kill him. Ashamed of their actions and anyway having fulfilled that task, they ran off. Also, when that last wolf attacked the beast, he was already injured, thus insuring Belle would pity the beast (as well as feel grateful). So that last wolf should not have continued fighting since the mission was accomplished. Again, the beast's roar reminded it that its whole purpose was to help lead to the curse being broken and not for petty revenge.

In Lilo & Stitch  in the end credits there are photos  that they had taken after the movie took place. One of the photos has Stitch holding a leaf to protect a turtle and its baby. Just like when Moana was attracted  to the ocean. To go along with this, David has a necklace that has what looks exactly like Maui's Fish hook. I noticed this after watching Lilo & Stitch  more than 25 times. Ben & J I hope you found this useful. =D

I've always thought it was a sea turtle...

Strength, curiosity, yet hardened determination. It also relates to the sea, one of the more harmless, but graceful. (Plus she saved a TURTLE as a toddler, which won over the heart of Te Fiti)

So that's why I assumed that, and I guess that I was right.
