Hacking is a huge part of Cyberpunk 2077, especially if you specialize in the intelligence stat. There's a lot that might be unclear about how hacking works, so here's a quick video to go over Breach Protocol, quick hacks, daemons, and the difference between all of them.

I’m so used to games like Borderlands and I just jump into combat blasting away. I keep forgetting to hack the enemies first

A useful tip directly related to hacking is higher level enemies lack to hack you (V) during combat using Overheat. The key is to use your Ping ability to see how they are tracking you to hack you. They can see through camera just like you can, so trace the ping line back to the one hacking you and take them out first. It's just like targeting healers/casters first in RPGs.

It is only me who wanted the game to have the option to customize our character to be like ADAM SMASHER or Robocop or Terminator or Blue from Cyber Blue or Guyver Suit.1 from Guyver?

It's sad that I had to look this up to understand how hacking works. The game doesn't explain the hacking mini-game's rows then columns thing at all. Makes so much more sense now. Esp. why I couldn't hack the tutorial port in that shop.

I basically designed my character around the Major from Ghost in the Shell, setting people on fire or taking control of their cyberware.

I already finished my first play through which like a samurai and now on my second and I’m doing a net runner sniper build and I’m having soooo much fun with it such an amazing game😊

I maxed out intelligence but the the game bugged & wouldn't let me do any hacks except for breach.
I went back a few saves I knew was working at the time but not working. I used my last save just b4 the pickup & it is OK now but lost 7 levels & 20 Street cred & 20 hrs play. Bit more stable with new patches but had to go back on saves, twice now.
Demons of war popped back up after finishing it.
But no way to finish it as the guy was dead & no laptop.
A mission with someone ironically named bugbear,
You couldn't put her in the car as it was half set in concrete. Glitched out.

two things that i don't get. 1st: for breach protocol, how are you suppose to know how many spaces you got left in the buffer? i mean, i see some people put in 4 different codes, but others are only able to put in 2 or 3. and 2nd: sometimes when i was performing quick hacks, it would say i didn't have enough ram, even though the ram meter above my cross hair clearly showed that i did. is this a bug or am i doing something wrong?
