In this session, we will introduce biomedical data analysis techniques and approaches that you can master and adopt to help you conduct better research, and learn about how data science is changing medical research - from diagnosis to treatment selection and development of new therapeutics.

- Discuss objectives and need for data science in bioinformatics
- Present an overview of dataset types and project examples we will analyze.
- Review the logic behind analysis and introduce the T-BioInfo platform
- Review basic functions in R and Python and discuss the methods that will be used next.
