I use a cloth case it’s more of a plastic rubber and cotton mix tbh, it does withstand my drops, it doesn’t have protection for items though

Polycarbonate will withstand more height than that. I just need my pencil leads to be protected and it's obviously gonna break if it's dropped.
SMH any other case would have easily withstood drops from the same height
