The B-1 Battle Droid That Trolled Anakin & Obi-Wan - Star Wars

During the Clone Wars, Obi-Wan Kenobi and his apprentice, Anakin Skywalker were sent on some of the most dangerous and important missions for the Republic because of their massive skill and experience. One of these missions though, was much, much weirder than the rest.

While on a distant, damp world in the Outer Rim, one malfunctioning B-1 Battle droid trolled Obi-Wan and Anakin, leading them into a endless line of deadly creatures and savage monsters.

The story begins on a damp, foggy world in the Outer Rim, where Anakin and his master have been deployed without their Clone Troopers, to provide crucial intelligence on a recent sighting of a battle droid ship.

The two Jedi have been tirelessly searching for the droid ship for hours, but are having no luck in finding it. Anakin is of course very frustrated at this, and hinting to his master that he would like to get off this barren planet as soon as possible, and report to the council that their mission did not find any droid activity.

Before he can voice his concerns any further however, Obi-Wan calls to Anakin, asking him to turn around as he has spotted something very unusual. Anakin is extremely confused at first, but when he turns around, he sees a lone B-1 Battle droid sprinting through the damp mud, to some unknown location.

Obi-Wan is very cautious about this battle droid, warning Anakin that it could be a trap, and to make sure that he is on his guard at all times.

As the B-1 unit sprints directly past Obi-Wan and Anakin, they are left incredibly confused and believe that the droid is about to pull some sort of trick on them. This leads them to both ignite their blue lightsabers in a panic, but much to their surprise, the droid just continues running through the Mud, going… somewhere. Anakin then says “that’s very odd”, as the droid runs faster and faster away, but moments later the droid just keeps running without a care in the world.

And let me know down below what you think this running B-1 Battle droid should be called, since he unfortunately is never given one in the story.

After this happens, Anakin turns to his master and tells him “I think they have something to do with it”. Before Obi-Wan turns to see a pack of savage, green creatures with giant claws and massive teeth. The two know they have absolutely no chance of shredding through the horde with their lightsabers, or outrunning them, so they do the only thing possible. They climb one of the nearby bare trees, hoping that the creatures will lose interest.

After waiting on top of the tree for quite some time, Anakin and Obi-Wan breathe a sigh of relief, as they think they are in the clear, and that the creatures have completely lost interesting the two. Unfortunately, they are completely wrong about this… Moments later, one single, green creature slowly begins crawling towards the trunk of the tree, and starts to detect the scent of two humans high above him.

As the creature looks up and sees Anakin and Obi-Wan up there, he immediately alerts all his savage brothers, causing them to storm towards the street and try to claw the two Jedi down.
