Intro to Python - REPL, Strings, and Numbers

Begin learning to program with python. In this first programming tutorial, we use a Docker image to make sure we're developing in the same environment and then we learn some of the very basics.

how can i multiply a variable that a user put in repl? i mean, making the multiplication without the number

Error response from daemon: create $PWD: "$PWD" includes invalid characters for a local volume name, only "[a-zA-Z0-9][a-zA-Z0-9_.-]" are allowed. If you intended to pass a host directory, use absolute path.
See 'docker run --help'.
I am running windows 10 any advice?

Pairing the Docker stuff with learning a program language is really nice since it gets you to the "writing stuff" faster and removes a lot of the frustrations installing languages and tools.

Docker will not start on my machine. It installs, and then just hangs on the "Docker is starting..." ... if I try to exit it. It doesn't exit. I uninstalled it (although I just went through "Remove Programs" as there was no documentation online). Reinstalled it. And it still doesn't work. I will have to give up on Docker. I already had Python installed though. Sorry.
