Gondolas are a totally touristy thing to do but isn't that what we go to Venice for?
My wife and I shared a gondola with two other couples we met on the trip. Next time we'll go on our own. It's very romantic.
Bring your own italian music on your smart phone. Gondoleros don't sing anymore. Bring a small speaker and share your joy

You could also take a private water taxi or the famous Vaporetto/water bus. Gondolas are mainly used for tourist for sight seeing. I think the theme park would demean the history and feel of Venezia, Italia

I've been to Venice many tines. The reason I go there is to immerse myself in the antiquity it has to offer. An amusement park in Venice? NO NO NO & NO. It would ruin this "antiquity" which is the reason tourists are so drawn to it. Those developers must be insane & greedy. An amusement park would ruin Venice. NOTHING MODERN BELONGS IN VENICE. . NO AMUSEMENT PARK IN VENICE. THUMBS DOWN TO THAT STUPID IDEA.

You do NOT need to ride a gondola to get round Venice! There is the public vaporetto service, traghetti just to cross the Grand Canal and motoscafi, fast water are for the tourists, slow and expensive and not for anything more than a romantic interlude.

Normally I don't post stuff like that, but there are so many things wrong in this video, that I have the feeling there is a need to correct them:

1. Venice is visited by over 30 Mio. tourists a year, so it's not elite
2. Venice is not built on water but on islands
3. There are cars in the city, to bei specific at the Piazzale Roma
4. You don't need to ride a Gondola to get anywhere in Venice, you can also walk or take many other boat types
5. The Danieli doesn't take place at Canal Grande but at the Bacino di San Marco
6. Palaces are called Palazzi in Italian, not "Plazzai"
7. A Vaporetto is not a water taxi but a water bus
8. The final destination of the Vaporetto lines 1 and 2 is called Piazzale Roma, not Porto Roma
9. the view at 7:20 doesn't show Venice
10. The first Gondoliera doesn't wear a striped shirt, she wears a renaissance uniform

Everything wrong with each question in this video:
1.) there are actually 118 islands, they are definitely NOT man-made, the islands are natural. Everything connecting them is man made. Venice is also not ancient, it became a city during the Middle Ages.
2.) This isn’t even a fact, it’s an ad for some sort of luxury train. What does that even have to do with anything??
3.) You do NOT need a gondola to get ANYWHERE in Venice. You can walk or take any of the motorised boats, such as the vaporetto. Also you can go to France and not go see the Eiffel Tower, maybe you meant to say Paris, but you failed. Also why on Earth would you go on a gondola because Selena Gomez and The Weeknd went on one. If you go to Venice for that kind of stuff, you don’t deserve to go to this beautiful city.
4.) There’s nothing really wrong with this one.
5.) This is dumb and has nothing to do with the city itself.
6.) Why the hell is everything luxury?? Also, why aren’t YOU TALKING ABOUT THE CANAL ITSELF AND NOT SOME LUXURY THIS VIDEO’S STUPID!! Sorry, I lost my cool, moving on...
7.) Nobody. Cares. Talk about the Rialto, or the stunning Piazza San Marco instead. Also, we don’t care what celebrities do. Also, it’s pronounced pal-at-zo, not pal-azo.
8.) Talk. About. Something. ELSE!!!! How about the famous Venetian glass? Or the local seafood? Or is that not luxury enough?
9.) I don’t even know how to begin with how wrong “plazzai” is,
10.) You see, I wasn’t gonna go to Venice. But now, now that I’ve learned that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been there. NOW I care!
11.) It’s not impossible, just ask what Calle they live on, and you’ll find the identifying features of their home.
12.) This is true, but what you have in the picture is the wrong street. Look it up.
13.) I guess this is accurate enough.

15.) This video was completely pointless. It’s actually kind of impressive how wrong everything was.
