So somehow the reflective part of my headlight simply melted.
After getting the replacement- I went out and unscrewed 4 screws to my grill. It came off super easy. Then two screws on the headlight casing. It came right out. Unplugged it, put in a new bulb- lined it back up- 6 screws later, my headlight is working fine. I am so proud of myself. I'm a great grandma - lots of health stuff, and all I lost was about 40 minutes of my time. Thank you so much for easy to follow instructions. Never would I have tried something like this. Just thank you! Next I have to replace the hood and glass door struts.

Good video. Changed both headlight assemblies in 30 minutes. Need to mention the gasket seal inside the wire harness which can stick to the headlight assembly and possibly get lost. Otherwise the video was very professional and informative.

You guys make great videos. They are well put together and easy to understand. Really helpful when working on my Liberty. I think I end up watching one of your videos every time I do a repair.

By far the most practical method verses using the feely meely method of reaching behind the headlamps while in place. Especially when cinching down the inserts. Plus the bulbs are extremely sensitive to dirt and finger prints. This method allows you to install the bulbs cleanly and secure things properly.

I read somewhere that only a 9007 bulb should be used in a Jeep Liberty. What is your take on this? And thanks for the video; you saved me the labor cost of $145!

Hey guy's! Thanks so much for the video. I do have a question tho? I drive a 2003 jeep liberty and don't know which headlight assembly to purchase. I can't figure out if my jeep is an 02-03 or a 03-04? Do you know how I figure it out?
