There are various things wrong in this video
1. The monthly compounding is not wrongly explained (the 100 rs per month logic)
2. Comparing a Banks Interest rate with NBFCs is the most foolish thing any one can do (the NBFCs will always have a higher rate of interest as NBFCs have additional credit risk built into their fabric.)

When you're talking about the difference between monthly and quarterly payment of interest. Obviously monthly interest would be just a little more but not same as that of quaterly. This is because interest is calculated on daily basis. For eg on the 30th day idfc is giving you the interest so on the 31st day (amount+interest) will be calculated. In case of rest of the banks after 3 months this will be the thing. There ain't much difference but still a difference is a difference
