People most likely told you already but the issue with the next opening is that it shows a major spoiler for "Post-Alabasta" aka what happens after the end of the Alabasta Saga. Later and recent opening got so bad with spoilers that I no longer watch the openings since a couple years ago. I only listen to it and just as with the titles I just don't look at the screen. For me personally, I look at the opening visuals once a new opening replaces it, making sure all spoilers if there were are no longer ones. Of course, you can decide for yourself what to do with this.

As great as the drum arc is... can't wait for you to get to Alabasta.
Of course, you should watch the opening if you want to It's completely up to you.
As for the season thing, the island name doesn't change as it's seasons change so a winter island is always a winter island and when it's Summer on the Winter island it's just summer on the winter island but it will still be cold but not as cold when it's winter on the winter island. Just like how Summer in Scandinavia is still pretty cold and Winter in Australia can still be relatively warm compared to other countries. but for it's own local climate it's cold/winter so the islands kind of work in the same way. So you get: Winter on Winter island, Spring on Winter Island, Summer on Winter Island, Autumn on Winter island etc. so the coldest possible "season" would be a winter on winter island and the hottest would be a summer on a summer island.
