I think this is Ridley Scott's worst film. Shmaltzy and juvenile. He and his brother Tony gave Cruise a workout in '86 with this and "Top Gun". At the time, Cruise was charming the public with his good looks and roguish but cute and likeable persona. Later he revealed himself to be a world-class unmitigated jerk.

I watched all horror movies as a kid in the 80’s but this one really depressed me because of the poor unicorns 😢 And the devil really creeped me out. But the very worst thing of all was Tom Cruise 🤦🏻‍♀️ He is the worst lol. I cannot stand him.
