no weapons makes you feel sacred and hapless and it works

I just finished this game yesterday, after months of refusing to continue. It is definetly the scariest game ever, and I also thought the prison part was the scariest, simply because it has so many hall ways. It reminded me of the Paris Catacombs. Really creepy. Oh, and you forgot to mention the bugs crawling on your face when going totally insane. Great review!

Started watching the playthrough videos and the game looks very intense. It was also interesting to see how other people are reacting to it. You and Chiib really made the videos fun to watch, really funny!. I just bought it and will be giving it a try tonight. I'll definitely be maxing out the volume for this one. Doom 3 is also another game that really gets under your skin, I remember playing it and having to stop to kinda gather myself and get back into it. Oh yeah, great review!!! =D
MantaRay
I watched a bunch of her videos and she always seems to watch over her glasses

Been playing for a few hours, i find it more enjoyable when your playing with people around you. Its like a scary movie night. Thats actully intimidatingly scary
naruhearts
think about it like this the castle is your mind and you have to put your mind back together and like the papers you find about your self and so on the Shadow monster is like a virus trying to kill that part of your mind is trying to discover your mind again its trying to make you never remember and he wants to make sure you always Amnesia if that makes sense
sutibun
Daniel went full crazy.
You NEVER go full crazy.

Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs is kinda a sequel it comes out on late september I'm so excited for it :D

im right now playing through the game and will have more of me playing through it. i love it for the game immersing you deeply in the game where it feels like you are actually the character. the music is cool as well. hopefully i can get 1-2 videos up of me playing through it. hope you get a laugh at them as well.
shadowcrone
there's only 1 monster thru this whole game he follows you thru the whole game trying to look for you and in a way that's more scary then a lot of monster because if one monster just follows you thru the game it feels like he really wants to kill you and he gos out of his way to do it
sutibun
never got around to playing the whole game, im not really into feeling crappy the whole time playing but I did enjoy watching you play it was very entertaining and i do hope they make another game like this.

Great review!
Also, your hair looks really good like this.
shellavation
Playing it in broad daylight with an old 2.1 speakers still scares the shit out of me....and I used to think Dead Space 1 was scary.

Cool review
and i agree that the scariest part is the jail
AvantaSensei
Just bought this based on your review and seeing part of walkthrough.
Love scary games and will be playing this tonight in a dark room with headphones and possibly a pair of adult diapers. I realized this game was pure win when I was exploring the beginning and realized my main weapon was a flower pot.
jds
does justine count as a sequal to amnesia the dark decent
mikemgun
you're the prettiest game reviewer I have ever seen
XMG
I think that the endings (other than Alexander's) really didn't make much sense or left a lot of questions.
But all and all, I enjoyed watching you play the game. I would play it and enjoy it if it weren't for the zombies. All that flashback stuff and scripted events I thought were cool, but when it came to the zombies, I just couldn't deal with the zombies. I think they look cool and all, but it just freaked me out too much how and when they appeared in the journey :\
JTrizzleFizzle
epic thumbs up for the chuck norris poster in the background
