Also Christopher Bill, I have 2 tenor trombones but the positions for notes on one of them are not normal. Is it possible that the horn itself is out of tune?

Good news, the problem is that I was playing the way I used to when it had a dent at the top of the tuning slide. Now that it's fixed the positions are in different places (the proper places)
