Could a Robot Be US President in 2028?

Though it sound nuts, But some techno-optimists really believe a computer could make better decisions for the country.
President Donald Trump spends his nights alone in the White house watching TV news and yelling at the screen. Wakes upearly in the morning to watch more television tweet his anger on the world or CNN.

A small group of scientists and thinkers believe that there could be an alternative in 2028, a way to save the president and the rest of us from him- or herself.

Why not? I mean, if you want to be technical, you could organize a leader machine to potentially be un-hackable using complex digital personality security (DPS) and program it to enforce a fair law, and it's primary objective would be to protect [Subject:Earth], thus making a robot capable of learning, with a ton of power, however, without any objective alternatives, it would just be a protector, not a suppressor. :)

This seems like a simple solution. The AI would have to be built in the United States, and it would only have to have been around for 35 years. That would make it a natural born citizen by legal standards. And technically it meant the age requirement as well. Assuming it can pass the Turing test, there is no reason it can't run for president. Obviously there's no physical test required for it to run for president, and mental faculty test wouldn't be required either. And as a bonus, the president wouldn't get sick, or potentially need any days off in the office. It could make decisions without rationalizing everything with emotion. Sure it's going to look at all outcomes and choose the best one, which may not be in our best interest, but even current presidents make decisions that aren't in our best interest either. As being made by humans, it's going to have floss like humans. But if a robot's president's wouldn't be tweeting things that could potentially put us into danger, I am all for it. Everything that came out a bit speaker, would be lots of cool and thought of in advance, rather than what simply Boards out of a human person's mouth. I'm already comfortable communicating and interacting with Machinery now, so a robot president wouldn't it be any different other than a walking talking Google assistant or Siri. But the only problem about the AI becoming sentient and even running for president, would be how we treat it. If we treat it as hostile comment it's going to treat us back as hostile and vice versa if we treat it kindly and respectfully. It's the same problem that people keep bringing up Skynet for, he only turned on humanity, because we threatened to shut it down. Otherwise AI in humans could coexist. At least an AI presidential flash presidents wouldn't it be dishonest. That would be a very nice change.
