They sound lovely. Love the colour too.
I'm lazy. I occasionally put my silicone liners through the top rack on the dishwasher. Only because the supplier said I could.

Hello, Thank you for sharing and all the lovely tips on cleaning the soaping equipment.
I myself personally have not used vinegar, I just leave my soap things for 48 hours, then wash with hot water as the soap has saponified, and that then cleans the soaping equipment ! It also saves on the washing up liquid, as none is needed and the things come out really nice and clean ! :)

I enjoyed watching this previously missed older video on facial bars George. They looked really nice. I really appreciated learning about spraying lye containers with vinegar after wiping out. I didn't know that but have always been concerned about the environmental effects of leftover lye. I have been rinsing my jugs in a big bucket of water to dilute before pouring down drain. Now I will use vinegar instead. Great tip! 🐾🦋

Hi George, they look lovely, can I ask why the raw sugar and Himalayan salt? Is it for hardness and lather or do these have special benefits for a facial bar? Many thanks.

I do something similar with vinegar. I keep a measuring jug of vinegar solution nearby to clean up with and neutralise any splashes. Vinegar helps get rid of that super slippery effect you get with raw soap batter when you're doing the dishes.

Thanks for this informative video. Can you recommend a substitute for the sweet almond oil, perhaps less expensive?

Did you add the clay to the oils before adding the lye solution? Sorry if I missed this in the video. And do you disperse the clay? Thank you!

Lovely facial bars and great soothing music. Did you use 2% sodium lactate because of high content olive oil?
And can you spritz everything with citric acid solution?
Thanks for this recipe, I am sure almond oil and olive oil makes them mild and gentle.

Hello George. I saw Elly’s Everyday’s review on your soaps after you kindly gifted them to her. Loved her review and your soaps so subscribed to your channel and have watched a few of your videos. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge, I love your communal views and that you care about the environment. I am just a newbie soaper but so excited to try your facial bars. Thank you and take care. Kind regards. Cassandra.

I do a vinegar spray as well! Kind of counterintuitive...to nuteralize they lye. Yay! So good to hear someone else suggests it :) especially someone like you! Yes, it's a good idea to do so before washing it down the drain.
Much Love💕
