Open-mindedness.... the world needs more of it.

Theres nothing i love to see more in this world than when someone can genuinely take constructive criticism, I know for a lot of people it's hard, but there are good people in the world who just want to see you succeed, and just being able to take a lil advice from someone who is older or wiser or more experienced can take you farther than you thought you could go.

Easy to accept help when it’s so respectful

He didn’t say what he was doing is wrong but saying to do it differently. Just wholesome

The guy giving tips played that so well with the, "can I see what happens if..?" route. I need to try to remember to use that kind of language when presenting constructive criticism myself.

There’s many people who claim humbleness, but the true showcase of humility is being able to accept constructive criticism without feeling humiliated. Props to both men here.

The teachers communication skills are impressive.

That guy’s approach was perfect. He didn’t immediately start giving unwanted advice. He simply asked him if he could see him swing just a little differently. I love that.

This is what America should be like but when older or more experienced people try and teach someone something a lot of people get offended now so they stop trying to teach others

Both good people. Giving criticism politely and accepting it humbly. I'm horrible at both. 😆

Constructive criticism is a gift folks. Don't be too damn stubborn to accept it.

This shit made me stop having a bad day. Learning something by listening to someone allows you to grow twice as much in that moment. Plus I love gold

The most wholesome moment I had is when 6 months ago I was trying to hit hybrids, 3 wood and driver for the first time I was completely hopeless and couldn’t get any to carry more than 100 yards. Old fella watched me swing and gave me an hour long lesson on the proper grip and backswing technique. Hitting my hybrid 200, 3 wood 2020 and driver 250 pretty damn consistently. Shot my best at a local course of 91 only 9 months into golf last week. All thanks to that man, bless his soul.

It wasn’t a belittling “you’re not doing it right” or “that’s the wrong technique” he just said “hey why don’t you try it like this” love people like this

That guys a pro at teaching others. I like how he asked, with no ego for the man to do that. I believe most of my difficulties from learning things come from either my pride, or the person teaching me having to feel superior . I wish I could be like him.

This is how you actually get better, by listening instead of letting ego get in the way. Props.

You can hear it in the voice of both of them. A gift and a receipt.
