It’s the all seeing eye. Once you clean your body the way you are supposed to be purified. The eye once accessed, will become as powerful as the sun and reach levels of consciousness that will make sense. First step, eliminate all things flourish from your life.

Something that you should consider is pairing this scripture with Matthew 7 and the plank and speck in the eye. Also that Christ is a lamp that should be raised high. What this reveals to me is actually fundamentally the nature of sin, especially the impact of the pride. When we cast judgement, we cast a dark shadow. This hiding in shadow stems back to Adam and Eve hiding in the shadow of the bushes from god and into the valley of the shadow.

Christ is the lamp and its light is the spirit of God, so here he is telling us to let the spirit of God flow from us in the same way it hovered and then plunged into the water in Genesis. I think there’s a connection there between eye and spring and the quality of light and water/spirit of God.

As Christ said when he lived on earth:

"The eye is the lamp of the body."

And what most followers of God have not realized is that all eyes radiate to the world the inner quality of being. They radiate the inner consciousness which blesses what it sees—or shrivels it up with its own bad temper.

Study the eyes of the predators, one and all, and compare their fierce intensity with the eyes of the non-violent herb and grass eaters—there you will see the ferocity of the one and the tranquility of the other.
