Just Say NO to Corner Pantries

My next kitchen will have a pantry but it'll be a pull out drawer pantry because it's easier to reach everything I need, more accessible and practical

I wholeheartedly agree with your reaction, Mark! The fact that there is food on the floor while there are plenty of empty spaces on the shelves tells me that this corner is difficult to get into. Also, you can see that the opening is narrow....the only way a corner pantry this size would work is if it was wide enough to stand in. In my mind, this is like a corner cabinet with a shallow lazy susan, only taller.

Not a fan of the corner pantry but, if your kitchen is on the smaller side with minimal storage, I guess this is better than nothing. I would add more cabinets, upper and lower, in that area before making a corner pantry.

Total claustrophobia trigger. Got rid of mine. Couldn’t be happier. During demo, I found things I’d put in there when I bought the house in ‘05 that I didn’t know I had lol. Big no for me.

It depends on where in the kitchen it is. It might be the best use of space for THAT kitchen.

It might be nice if the door was completely different. The ones built with an angle seem nice.

I have a corner pantry 😭 but no lazy Susan's. Difficult to reach and hard to see what's in there.

Too narrow an entrance, but beats NO pantry.

I like a walk in pantry but the corner in the middle of a base cabinet run is not where I’d put it.
