I bookmarked this video last week because my A1 Mini was on the way, and I knew I would need to watch it. Today, the printer finally arrived, and the first thing I did before unboxing was to open the video. It was so helpful and on point. I can thank you enough, man. I just did my first-ever 3D print. I'm excited for 2025.

Thank you so much for talking this through step by step with easy to understand and very visual instructions. I just ordered my a1 mini combo and it's my first 3d printer. I did some research into the types of 3d printers - fdm vs resin and I chose what most recommended as the beginner's best fdm - the A1 mini combo. Resin was a hard NO because I live in a one-bedroom apartment with little ventilation. As much as I wanted an A1, I measured out the space in my apartment and... yeah, the standard A1 barely doesn't fit on my cramped surfaces. 😢 I do not have the budget or space for the P1S let alone the X1C, and I haven't experimented with the different types of filaments yet. But I did buy the 0.2 mm nozzle that many recommended for printing miniatures closer to resin-like quality with... substantially increased print time. 😅

This video will definitely help make things much easier. Besides the 0.02 mm nozzles, do you recommend any other parts or accessories to the a1 mini combo that's not already included? I know there are some videos that demonstrate some accessories you can 3d print right off the bat to make life easier with the new printer. But in your opinion, are there non-printable must have accessories for beginners?

Just letting you guys know, it’s not recommended to use silk pla in the ams lite because of its viscosity, you should put it in the spool holder in the back and remove all the tubing and just directly connect it

7:52 at this point I put one of the tubes in the wrong slot. Is this a problem?

The hole wheel holder has 5 slots. The last one is for the black tubing. Everyone seems to miss this step 😊

so for this printer it doesn't matter if I'm in europe or usa right? I mean voltage, for example ender 3 has this option: power switch

I have the A1 and the A1 Mini. I also have AMS that I ordered with my A1 as the Combo. My question is this. Can I use the same AMS with my A1Mini? Or do I have purchase another to match the A1 Mini.
Thanks
Richard

My daughter is 14 yrs old and asking for a 3d printer for Christmas. She is very much a nerd girl and totally geeks out on this kind of stuff. What's a good printer/all-in-one setup i can get to get her started?
