What are some economical ways to maintain a good lawn? area of 10-15 square feet. And for a bumpy lawn? Do you recommend adding compost and sand? The grass is Bermuda.

OII-YS is an adjuvant with a yucca surfactant in it. It is primarily chitosan, and I would be curious about your opinion on chitosan and turfgrass. This product seems to be working well in Ag setting.

I see the benefits early in new lawns with alot of products esp is your soil is crap!, Devin prefers certain ones!! Doesnt make him wrong. At the end of the day, We try things that seem to be used more often than not ...TTTF/KGB mix gets tricky with humidity etc.

That (in)famous diagram @33:03, that tries to relate soil pH to nutrient availability, assumes, incorrectly, that Plants take up their nutrients PASSIVELY through osmosis and diffusion. But living systems, like Plants, also rely heavily on ACTIVE TRANSPORT, little machines that move nutrients across the cell membrane. These 'machines' (proton pumps) often run on the very localized differences in the concentration of hydrogen ions within and just outside the cell in the rhizosphere, a tiny area whose pH the Plant itself can partially control.

50:25 a picture of Dr. Shaddox's lawn all you Nay sayers! It's there's, right THERE. And let me applaud 👏that lawn is beautiful. Better than anything I have done or could hope to in this cold weather area. I'll never be able cut my turf that short, and have it look so dense. Tifway 419 Bermuda for the win! 👍 And again 1:12:10, in Gainesville, FL, an award-winning lawn y'all 👍

I'm not aware of any fungicide label confirming you can use the low rate for the longest re-application rate if a surfactant is added. I would assume they would put something that important on the label.

Thank you so much, yet again! Can you take a look at this paper and see if there is enough interest to do a quick video or podcast on centipede? “Centipedegrass Decline and Recovery as Affected by Fertilizer and Cultural Treatments” by Johnson, Carrow and Burns. It’s an older paper from Agronomy Journal back in May, 1988. I’m learning as much as I can about my centipede lawn and came across this.

I was hoping this guy would pull out a carbon product because I'm very curious to get your thoughts on adding carbon in the lawn. Like biochar products etc.

Dr shaddox cant wait to see you at the Rhode Island convention march 6 and march 8. Us golf course guys up here in the northeast are looking forward to getting out on a trip. Being stuck inside maintenance buildings working on equipment and ordering supplies waiting for spring. I always appreciated your topics about turfgrass etc

Questuion: Have you ever seen any pest control aspects in PH of soil?
I'm asking because I think fungus gnats have a harder time growing a population at a soil PH below 6.

man, that amount of products for a homeowner lawn is insane! I bet if he just put down a pre em, some sedge killer if he has a problem and the cheapest N he can find his lawn would look no different than using all of those products.

The man seems insane to me!
