LoLK Doremy's Theme: Eternal Spring Dream

This is Doremy Sweet's theme from Touhou 15: Legacy of Lunatic Kingdom
and Story Theme 3 from Touhou 16.5: Violet Detector

There are some things that really irk me about Doremy, mainly in design. I love her dress, don't get me wrong, but ZUN, why make the hat red? It looks so out of place (not to mention she looks like Santa). I was really excited to see a Touhou with super short hair though, but turns out its just long hair tucked into her stupid Santa hat. Why Doremy. Why.

I'm not too fond of her theme either, which is a bit of a shame, but whatever. Hopefully the rest of the music will be good!

take invisible moon's intro chord progression: Fm - Am - G♭m - C/E (f: i - ♯iii - ♭ii - V6)
transpose two whole tones higher, replace the first chord with the submediant of the parallel major, put the third chord in second inversion, replace the last chord with a 5-6 voice leading (inserting a leading-tone chord), put the last chord in root position,
and it should become F♯m - C♯m - B♭m/F - G♯dim - E (a: ♯vi - ♯iii - ♭ii64 - ♯vii° - V)

this "zun turnaround" has also appeared in doll judgement and necro-fantasy. it embodies some of the best nonfunctional harmonies in touhou osts (don't even get me started on explaining that part in sanae's stage theme)

As someone who recently got into Touhou, Doremy has basically become my favorite character within almost a single day after discovering her.

I love characters themed after dreams. Not only are dreams a very interesting topic for me, these characters also tend to have cute and fluffy designs.

Her theme is really cool, too! It switches between cheerful to serious over the course of the song, but stays energetic and catchy. It took me a few listens for me to start to like it, but its one of my favorites now.
