The way she goes from frightened to happy when the demon-like monstrosity disappears and a cat comes out is very accurate for how many people would normally react.

I really do hope Salem talks through the series.. it probably won't be the same as the 90's series... Salem will be a lot darker because this as a whole is a lot darker and based on the comics but if Salem talks at all that makes me so happy!!

Filled with terror of the horrific looking demon. Demon turns into a kitty ... picks up kitty, “aww such a pretty kitty.” Forgets what she saw just a second ago. 🙄

I just want...like a scene where it's just horrifyingly intense and dark, just soul crushing, and in the momentary silence, Salem laugh cries like the 90's sitcom. I will probably die laughing.

I'd be so hyped if this whole show was the dark tone that it's looking like it's going to be but Nick Bakay still voiced Salem and had the same kind of banter as the 90's show. I think it'd be a good way to add comedic relief to a dark show

People need to relax the show looks awesome and as far as Salem is concerned familiars in folklore were Spirit companions of witches that could " shapeshift" into or possess animals or even human's
So he will talk if not in the way you expect " he just did " telepathy and he probably has a few other tricks we have yet to see
