Here is what you'll need!

SUPPLIES
Sugar
White glue
Lip balm
Honey
Baby oil

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Put sugar on your tongue if you burn it on hot tea or coffee to alleviate pain.
2. Use white glue to peel off a small splinter instead of using tweezers. Apply the glue on top of the splinter, let it dry and then peel.
3. Put lip balm on a paper cut to reduce immediate pain.
4. Honey relieves minor burns. Apply as a wound dressing on minor burns after running the area under cool water.
5. Use baby oil to help easily take off a bandaid.

I don’t use baby oil to loosen stuck bandaids. I just tear them off really fast, and it doesn’t hurt at all

Mustard helps amazzzzing on burns. On my first job, at Mcdonalds, my manager was rushing me to make oatmeal and the boiling water (that instantly cooks the oatmeal) burnt my whole forearm. I ran it under water, but anytime it wasn't under water it burned, so I had to work the register with an icepack on my arm. Another manager pulled me to the side and tore open all the mustard packs she could carry and told me to slather my arm in it. I was a bit apprehensive at first, but I did it. It burned for 15 minutes, but I couldn't run to the back to put it under cool water with 6 customers in the lobby, and after that I literally felt nothing. It did blister horribly though, i think it was because i didn't put mustard on it immediately because I tried it again after a brownie incident and it was as good as new.

Wouldn't you be introducing a ton of bacteria from your mouth onto a paper cut if you use lip balm?

When I get a splinter I don't bother with glue. I use a piece of tape; it works quicker and is less messy, plus tape is more common in an office than glue.

My mom is a nurse and I was have taken a class for babysitting and they instructed first aid what you're supposed to do with a minor burn is rinse under cool water to clean and sooth the burn (never use ice, it might cause blistering and if you have a blister it could pop it and cause damage) then you apply burn cream and to prevent it from getting infected try placing a bandaid over it

Honey might work in a pinch because it's soothing and antibacterial but only use it for minor burns and I don't know if I would use it as burn cream and place a bandaid over though, just doesn't seem very comfortable or practical

For a minor burn I just put minty toothpaste on it! I've done it for a bigger one that turned into a boil but it still soothed it!

I just burnt my tongue on some hot tea, I remember watching this video a few days ago on FB - googled this to come back and see what the remedy was. Sugar did not work...still hurts Q_Q I tried honey as well.
