If everyone wants to pay over 100, 000 dollars for a pickup, hell make them freaking fly ! That's crazy

I’m looking at a GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate, and will have a Cadillac Blackwing, I’ll have the 6.2L V-8 in both. Moving to Payson, a desire area with only 16, 000 residents and no freeways or malls.. make Payson a great place to live.

50k miles on my 2nd 4x4 2.7 turbo in the Midwest
Lifetime average 22.5 mpg better than all of our other fleet vehicles

All chevy needs to do is slap a turbo, super or procharger on a ls and case closed.

The major deal breaker is 80 to 100k for a four door four foot bed pos with a 4 cylinder engine.

Nobody buys a v8 for mpg. These trucks have their problems but if you want mpg a big v8 truck is a terrible choice.

tbh the whole reason trucks now adays are struggling to produce power and meet good mileage is because the epa bs mandating certain requirements in order for vehicles to be street legal.

Nah, I'll keep my 2007 Silverado. No payments. There's a shop on YouTube who exposed the US Government and the EPA. He worked on a diesel truck for the Air Force and all the emission parts were missing. So they don't have to put DEF in their fuel and their truck probably gets 25 mpg+. That's why I won't buy a diesel because all of that emissions crap cripples a good truck. Then for the GAS Engines GM and all of the other automakers have some form of cylinder deactivation that cripples these new trucks when it only improves MPG +/-1% which is less than 1 mpg extra. NISSAN TITANS V-8 does not have it but they discontinued them this year. 2024 is it.

I promise you....noone who is buying a 6000 lb truck cares about may get better mileage ut they are absolutely shit for reliability

Technology is there, I can't understand why Chevy didn't use it. Stupid people running the company I guess.
