IMPALA

Coming from both surf and skate backgrounds, we've always been looking for a sweet spot between a traditional Carver surfskate and a normal street skateboard - something that still carves and pumps, but is shorter and narrower, lowering the center of gravity and giving the tail more pop for traditional skateboard tricks.

The 32" Impala is inspired by the classic 1970's lowrider favorite, and the thinner 8 1/2" template keeps it light, with a bit more room at the nose for wide stance carving.

I wish i can try this one out. I want to like it, but i feel like it would be unecesary. U can get alot of pump off loose trucks and risers. Once u throw a 180 u cant really pump away without turning the board aroud again i would think. To me that would take alot of fun out of the idea. I almost think RKP trucks would be a better option for carving and skating. But i dont really know

I'm seeing a lot of pushing. Carver is a bit expensive if that's what I'm getting. I want to see how it pumps, how fast can you wind it up on a flat?

I have a question. Did the rider stiffen the C5 truck? Or did he leave it at "factory setting"?
