I was in one of the fb group about the refund part. A lot of peep were lying to Etsy about product they didn't received and left negative review. One seller literally tracked down that buyer on social media and this buyer clearly recieved the product and showing off. She brought this case to Etsy and nothing was done. This seller lost both: money and item. Other clearly stated in the shop policy that it is non-refundable or had have refund policy for short business time but customer were able to get their money back. A lot of seller are losing money and items. Some of them ended up closing the shop. That features, it is a double edge store. Which is why I am turning into digital product for now. I was planning on selling my items but that area terrified me. Or I much rather use POD service but who know. Excellent video as always, My site had over 100 views in a month but no sales. So I am trying to fix that and see what went wrong (16 listings) before I add more.

Can you please tell me how important choosing the correct category for your listing is when I comes to ranking on Etsy? Some products can be placed in more than one category but Etsy only lets a seller choose one. Thank you!

Great video as always!
I have to add a comment about the protection plan - they say it is to help both sellers and customers. Well my experience over this nightmare of a UK Holiday season, with the Royal Mail strikes has been eye opening!
You have to ask the customers to open a case THEN etsy say too many people are opening cases and this then shows my shop is offering a low standard of service and will be penalised! So is it really helping us in the long run?

Something US etsy sellers need to be aware of is the upcoming legislation for cosmetic registration with the US. As if now, it is voluntary. Cosmetics include soaps, body oils, lip gloss, etc. Any buzz from Etsy on this. I was in cosmetic regulatory compliance. This is more likely to happen than mot as we are the only country that does not have government entity monitoring our cosmetics.

I fixed my pics, my description, adjust prices and put few things to sell. My concern is ( maybe a video of this ) that I many of the same item and the only thing changing the the fabric. So my descriptions are the same with only changing few words ( style, color, material). Is this bad for seo?

Hi Starla. Great video. I sell handmade wood jewelry along some other products, but my question is while searching on Etsy to see where my listings appeared in the search I could not find any of my products even the ones that are running with ads. So I just came up with a search word out of my creative thinking which was "woodmade earrings" and that is where I found most of my listings grouped under this title. I don't even have this title listed in the title, keywords, or description or anywhere on my listings. How did this happen? Thanks in advance for your feedback.
