Yes, it’s basically required if you own the base game since you get a new playable character and a great selection of amazing new bosses all for the low price of $8. Which’s definitely highway robbery for how much effort and polish is put into this DLC.

I honestly don't know what's stopping reviewers from giving Cuphead and the DLC a 10/10. They are practically perfect experiences for the genre that do exactly what they set out to do. Personally one of my favorite games of all time with the addition of this DLC.

I want to buy this game and the DLC because it looks so damn amazing but I simply can't because overly difficult games will only make me super angry and make me utterly hate the game. I can't deal with it like I used to as a kid.
