I think the most offensive part of this tin is the fact 97/100 commons in this set have originally been printed as commons. Like me as the only Ninja player in the world heard jioh was in the tins and went hell yeah rarity upgrade only to see it's just been reprinted in common

Reprinting at lower rarities let's players finally access pieces they should have never been gate kept from and let's the original print retain more value. Leave it to Konami to screw all that up miserably.

After 10 years of MegaTins, I can safely say this is the laziest, greediest, uninspired cash grab of them all. Smaller sets, focusing exclusively on the best of the best, rarity bump the low-end cards, and make chase cards low rarity, maybe bring back world premiere meta relevent staples like the 2019 tins or guaranteed promos like tins of yesteryear or have another collector's gimmick like the stone tablet (Spirit Gates or Crimson Dragon marks). Better yet, just replace it with Rarity Collection as it seems to do this better in almost every way.

I don’t think I’d call their agressive reprint policy a benefit to playing Yugioh. Sure it’s a really good thing that playable cards will eventually come down in price and be more available due to the reprints. But it would be a whole lot better if the cards were cheaper to get in the first place. It’s absurd to me that one Yugioh card can cost more than tournament winning Pokemon decks.

Reprinting chase cards in their original rarity (secret) never made sense to me. From a collectors standpoint its the exact same cards with another number on it, from a players standpoint it only pushes the prices slightly and worse of all, it clogs up the already overfilled secret slots. The bloat is just criminal this time around as well.

If only the TCG wasn't as blatantly greedy and anti-consumer. OCG players get to enjoy accessible rarities for meta relevant cards and structure decks with full playsets of AND rarity upgrade booster packs. Meanwhile, we get $1000, QCR-only, short-printed Dragon Master Magia bullshit....

i think they just need to go the ocg route at this point and make everything more affordable with better rarities.
