How To Build Bridges The Easy & Cheap Way | The Forest Tutorial

This video will show you how to build bridges effortlessly using rock walls, custom walls and custom floors. These bridges can be great to get carts onto an island. They are the flattest and smoothest bridges you can build. They do have their downfalls, they are really weak and cannibals can cross them. However, if you build fortifications around them, then they will be easy to defend.

this doesnt just replace bridges, this also potentially replaces custom foundations, because floors are way cheaper.

Just stumbled upon this... Tried it out, but it doesn't work for me. Has the bridge to be 100% horizontal? I tried to build one from my house to a nearby hill, measured the both ends exactly and rectangular, filled them up with stones, removed the remaining blueprints as shown, but no custom floor is placeable. Are there limitations in length, too?

thanks i just got into this game and had two little islands i was building stuff on but because i couldnt figure out a bridge i couldnt get my shelter over their now i just cut out the middle to keep em from crossing and my home area is perfectly safe all the bluebarries and turtle water i could ever need

If I use 3/4 pillers of rock wall over it can I still place custom floor on it? I tired doing it today to make a big house floor but I couldn't make the custom floor at all.
