In my opinion it is a big plus that the controllers are powered with regular batteries. Eventually, built in batteries die and usually there is no easy way to replace them.

I very much prefer removable batteries, I have many rechargeable batteries, and you can swap them real fast, and you don't have to worry about your device's battery going bad and having to pay someone to replace it, or buy a new device.

My Quest 1 finally just died so I'll be skipping the 2 for the 3. I'll definitely appreciate the improvements! Would be great if they partnered with like Disney+ and other steaming services so I can watch Star Wars stuff on the "big screen".

No USB Charging is a massive Pro.
Nothing worse than having to charge midgame.
Simply swap batteries and go on.
Just nice.

I was worried they were going to go to an internal permanent battery. I love using rechargeable AA batteries, I am never stuck waiting for a controller to charge.

The battery problem for the control could to be fixed easy just buy rechargeable batterys

You can use rechargeable batteries, just buy a charger and 4 rechargeable batteries also in the long run they are cheaper
